| Kenneth Charlton was widely recognized for his carvings of teams of horses and he carved for more than 30 years. He was a regular for several years at the Nova Scotia Folk Art Festival, and a carved team of horses by Ken was featured on the poster for the festival in 2000.
Ken Charlton's work can be found in the permanent collection of the Cape Breton University Art Gallery
